What it is meant to be
The reconstruction and construction of Opete Road from the DSC Expressway through Plantation City to Opete Waterside in Udu Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. The project includes 4.7km length, 8m average pavement width, 12m average format width, 2,000m drains and 1,000lm lenght of undersized drains demolition. The scope of works for the road includes site clearance, scarification of existing failed sections, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushed stone base, culverts, demolition of existing drains and construction of concrete drains, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of 50mm thickness binder course on failed and new construction and overlay of the entire carriageway with 40mm wearing course as well as thermoplastic road markings. The project will facilitate the efficient movement of residents, businesses, commuters, and goods and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development and improved quality of life in Udu Local Government Area. -->
