If you or your organisation appear here, you can respond.
This platform lists 239 companies and 70 office holders, from published sources. Anyone listed has a right to a response published beside their record, in their own words, without us editing it for length.
A right of reply
You appear here and want to respond. Published beside the record it answers, as written.
A correction
A figure here is wrong. No name needed — a correction is judged on the argument.
What we check, and what we cannot
We cannot confirm you are who you say you are
Verifying that somebody writing on behalf of a company really speaks for it would need
identity infrastructure this platform refuses to build. So we do not pretend to. A reply
is published as a response from somebody identifying themselves as you — never
as "the company said" — with what we checked printed next to it. An unverified
reply is still worth publishing. An unverified reply presented as verified is not.
| What it says | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not checked | Submitted through the form. We have confirmed nothing about who sent it. |
| Confirmed on a contact channel | We reached the organisation on a number or address it publishes itself, and they confirmed the response. |
| Supported by a document | We were sent something on letterhead or equivalent. |
The rules we hold ourselves to
- We do not edit your words. No trimming for length, no summarising.
- Your contact details are never published. They are stored so we can check with you, and not shown to anyone.
- A refusal is published with its reason. Turning down a right of reply quietly is the exact thing a right of reply exists to prevent.
- Replies are published whether or not we agree. A reply is published because it answers a record here.
- It sits beside the record, not on a separate page, so a reader sees both together.
