The 25 local government areas
What share of the state's contract value each area holds, against what share of its people it has. Sorted by the gap between the two — a comparison OpenDelta calculates from published figures.
Our calculation How we calculated these figures
| How we processed it | Contract sums summed by LGA, with multi-LGA contracts split evenly between the LGAs named, as a share of the state total; set against that LGA's share of the state population, projected from the 2006 census at 3.0% a year. |
Overstates LGAs hosting corridor infrastructure that serves several LGAs, and inherits the uncertainty of a population estimate from a 2006 census. It is a comparison of shares, not money anybody received.
