What it is meant to be
The infrastructural development works at Adams Primary School in Issele-Uku, located in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, were undertaken to improve the physical learning environment and address critical infrastructure gaps affecting effective primary education delivery. Many public primary schools face challenges such as deteriorating classroom blocks, inadequate furniture, and insufficient sanitation facilities, which hinder teaching quality and pupil learning outcomes. The project therefore focused on rehabilitating and/or constructing classroom structures, providing desks and chairs for pupils and teachers, and upgrading essential amenities such as toilets and water points to create safe, functional, and child-friendly learning spaces. Through these improvements, the intervention is expected to enhance pupil enrolment, attendance, and retention while strengthening teacher effectiveness and learner participation.
