What it is meant to be
The construction of Ododegho Road (Phase II), Ododegho-Ughelli Town, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and accessibility within the community. The road has a length of 1,300m, an average pavement width of 7.3 m (drain to drain), an average clearance width of 10 m, and a drain length of 2,600 m. The scope of work includes earthworks and subgrade stabilization: Full site clearance, stripping of topsoil, excavation of unsuitable organic material and backfilling with thoroughly compacted, well-graded sharp sand fill to raise the formation level above the water table. The project will provide a durable road network, improve the movement of residents and goods, enhance access to homes, businesses and essential services, reduce travel difficulties and transportation costs, improve road safety, support local economic activities, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development in Ughelli North Local Government Area. -->
